It’s that time of year again – we are officially opening registration for Maverick’s 9th Annual Plant Engineers Forum for Nonmetallics, and 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest, most influential event yet. Better yet, our Forum is still FREE to attend for plant owners and design engineers!

For nearly a decade, the Plant Engineers Forum has brought together plant owners, operators, engineers, and suppliers from across the United States and beyond, forming one of the industry’s most respected gatherings focused exclusively on nonmetallic equipment performance. Maverick Applied Science has built this reputation by consistently delivering deeply technical programming, expert-led insights, and real-world lessons learned from the front lines of FRP, thermoplastics, and dual‑laminate technology. Past forums have featured many expert presentations, covering manufacturing, testing, maintenance, reliability, and materials selection, and in so doing have earned the event praise as a premier educational resource for professionals working with nonmetallic systems.

This year will raise the bar yet again. We’re expanding capacity to over 100 available registration spots, providing more room than ever for attendees to join us for two days of high‑value learning and networking. As always, the program will feature a fresh lineup of industry-recognized speakers and opportunities for participants to earn up to 16 PDH credits, a longstanding benefit of the Forum.

A New Location for 2026 – Houston, Texas

To bring the Forum closer to many of our valued clients, partners, and colleagues, the 2026 Plant Engineers Forum will take place in Houston, Texas, at the Greenway Plaza Hilton. This new location reflects Maverick’s commitment to accessibility and industry collaboration – similar to past venue expansions prompted by growing attendance and heightened demand for nonmetallics education.

Why Attend?

Maverick Applied Science is a trusted authority in FRP engineering, inspection, testing, and failure analysis, recognized since 1999 for its technical leadership and deep expertise in composite materials. Each year’s Forum builds on that foundation by presenting the latest advancements, case studies, reliability strategies, and field-proven best practices from Maverick as well as from a host of Industry Subject Matter Experts with deep experience in nonmetallics. Attendees consistently praise the event for its educational depth, technical rigor, and the unmatched opportunity to learn directly from engineers and specialists advancing the future of nonmetallic technology.
