American Petroleum Institute (API)

British Standards Institution (BSI)

Cooling Technology Institute (CTI)
CTI advocates and promotes the use of environmentally responsible Evaporative Heat Transfer Systems (EHTS), cooling towers, and nonmetallic cooling equipment through education, research, and technical standards development.
National Research Council of Canada (NRC)
