Dual laminate for Performance

FRP is an excellent material of construction for handling a variety of corrosive fluids in chemical processing, although even FRP has its limitations. At elevated temperatures FRP can be challenged in some of the most severe chemical services, some as in chlor-alkali...

In these demanding environments, dual laminate equipment pairs a high-performance thermoplastic liner (such as CPVC, PVDF, ECTFE, or PFA) with an external structural fiberglass laminate.

The thermoplastic liner provides superior chemical barrier protection against aggressive chemicals, while the FRP outer shell delivers structural strength and pressure-bearing capabilities, providing the best of both worlds for extreme process reliability.
