Tank projects tend to get more attention than piping projects. They’re larger, often more expensive, and typically seen as more critical assets. Piping projects, on the other hand, have a tendency of being overlooked. The goal of this presentation by Darryl Mikulec, Technical Director of Maverick Applied Science, is to illustrate the ways that, in many respects, piping projects should get as much, or more, attention than tanks because of the number of things that can go wrong if certain steps are skipped. These include, most importantly, safety concerns, but there can also be very significant cost impacts when proper attention isn’t given.
